Toyota extends shutdown of North American plants through April 17
Toyota Engine Corp (T:7203) said it will expand a shutdown of all North American plants for about fourteen days because of the progressing COVID-19 pandemic and decrease in vehicle requests.
The biggest Japanese automaker said it will keep all gathering and segment parts plants in Canada, Mexico, and the US shut through April 17.
Numerous U.S. states have given asylum set up orders. Different automakers are expanding shutdowns that were at first declared in Spring, including Passage Engine Co (N: F).
